Facebook which boast to have billions of users on its platform has admitted that it had up to 270 million fake accounts, and 10% of accounts are doubly created by real users which doubles 6% estimate in the previous quarter projections.
This was established after Facebook disclosed in its third quarter earning reports that 2 to 3% were "user misclassified and undesirable accounts".
